Terrazzo or mosaic concrete is the exclusive concrete surface finish, where the stone matter in the concrete is brought out by grinding and polishing. Stone materials with different colouring and size as well as different concrete pigments can be used in producing terrazzo concrete, resulting in very different concrete surfaces. Using terrazzo technology makes it possible to give the habitual grey concrete a far different look, concurrently preserving the good properties of the concrete as an artificial stone.
Washed concrete is the concrete surface finish, where the stone matter in the concrete is brought out by washing down the layer of unossified fine matter up to prescribed depth. Similar to terrazzo concrete, stone materials with different colouring and size as well as different concrete pigments can also be used in the case of washed concrete, resulting in very different concrete surfaces. In addition, the concrete surface can be washed in its entire spread or partially and with different depths. As the colouring of washed concrete is determined predominantly by the stone material, the weather resistance and duration of the concrete surface colour is very good.
Hammered surface is the concrete surfaces finish, where processing of the surface is carried out by knocking with a sharp-barbed rotating mechanism. This gives a rough concrete surface resembling the surface of broken stone, but is less rough. Similar to terrazzo concrete, stone materials with different colouring and size as well as different concrete pigments can also be used in case of hammered concrete, resulting in very different concrete surfaces. As the colouring of hammered concrete is determined predominantly by the stone material, the weather resistance and duration of the concrete surface colour is very good.
